Job summary

Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV seeks an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across a broad range of emergencies and trauma cases, aligning with our commitment to safe, compassionate treatment.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, active Nevada RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certification, and 1 year of acute care ED RN experience (2 years preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current Nevada RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• 1-year acute care ED RN experience required; 2 years ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for a wide spectrum of illnesses and injuries in emergency/trauma settings.
• Maintain standards of professional nursing practice in the Emergency/Trauma unit.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and complete competencies on time.
• Maintain professional relationships with all health care team members and support hospital mission.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Summary:

Seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role you will provide the best possible preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient based upon their individual needs and are looking for a team member who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. • You will provide nursing care for a wide spectrum of illnesses and injuries including lifesaving procedures in all types of emergency and trauma situations to chronic medical problems, minor illnesses and injuries
• You will maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the Emergency/Trauma clinical setting
• You will participate in organizational and unit-based quality improvement activities. Completes required competencies within the defined time frames
• You will maintain professional and effective working relationships with all members of the Health Care Team
• You will support the mission, philosophy and goals of the HCA Hospital

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current Nevada Registered Nurse (R.N.) license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• 1-year acute care ED RN experience required; 2 years ED experience preferred
