Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut is seeking an experienced registered nurse for the Evening shift (3pm-3:30am, EOW/EOH) in our acute-care setting. A CT RN license is required with BSN preferred; emergency medicine experience is a plus. New grads may be considered under State guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction and general supervision of the Nurse Manager, the registered nurse utilizes evidence based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, policies and procedures of the hospital and as directed by the medical staff.
• The registered nurse develops a plan of care which includes standards of practice to meet the physical, emotional spiritual, cultural and educational needs of the patient and family.
• Provide compassionate, organized, calm under pressure patient care in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team setting.
