Job summary

vTech Solution is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at a Level II Trauma Center. You will deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with trauma, STEMI, stroke, pediatrics, and other acute conditions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include assessments, vital signs, administering medications, coordinating with physicians, documenting in EPIC, and responding to emergencies. Must maintain certifications and comply with Joint Commission standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of California.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience at a Level II trauma center or higher.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Special Considerations:

• Work environment includes a high-acuity Level II Trauma Center with 49 beds and 4:1 patient ratios maximum.
• Must be prepared to work in a fast-paced, high-stress emergency setting.
• Compliance with trauma center and Joint Commission standards is mandatory.

Scheduling:

• Varied shift schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned to meet department needs.
