Job summary

Providence Valdez Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse to join our team in Alaska. You will provide patient-focused care, adhere to clinical standards, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a busy acute care setting.

Role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Alaska RN license on hire, and a range of certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP) with 1 year of nursing experience. On-site work with comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.

• Within 1 year of hire: 1001 AK PVMC Med Surg Acute Trauma Nursing Core Course (Facility Managed)
• Within 1 year of hire: 1001 AK PVMC Med Surg Acute Emerg Nursing Pediatric Course (Facility Managed)
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
• National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 6 months (180 days) of hire
• 1 year of Nursing experience.
