Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Emergency Room Nurse (ER Nurse) to join our dedicated team. The ER Nurse will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, dynamic emergency department setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent critical thinking skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while delivering optimal care in emergency situations.
As an ER Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and providing nursing care to patients in emergency and critical situations. You will work collaboratively with physicians, other nursing staff, and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Essential Functions:
- Triage and assess patients of all ages, prioritizing care based on acuity
- Provide direct emergency nursing care, including trauma and cardiac interventions
- Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and protocols
- Monitor, document, and communicate changes in patient condition
- Assist with performing life-saving procedures and resuscitation efforts
- Prepare and stabilize patients for transfer to higher levels of care when needed
- Operate and maintain emergency equipment (e.g., defibrillators, ventilators, IV pumps)
- Support patients and families in high-stress situations with clear and compassionate communication

Requirements:
- Fully authorized to work in the U.S. (VISA sponsorship NOT available)
- Graduate from an Accredited Nursing Program with ADN, BSN, or MSN
- Maintain current CEU's as required by state licensure
- At least one year of recent emergency, medsurg/telemetry, or critical care experience
Licenses and Certifications:
- Active Nursing License in the state of practice
- Possession of current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required upon hire
- Must obtain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire
Additional Details:- Day shift (7a - 7p)
- Growing ED: expanding from 8 to 16 beds within the year
