Job summary

Saint Joseph London is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high‑quality care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will perform assessments, execute care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery.

The role includes a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and student loan assistance up to $24,000. A BSN is required within five years, with enrollment within two years of start.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Nursing from an accredited school.
• Registered Nurse licensure required for Kentucky (KY).
• Basic Life Support (CPR) required on hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of start.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 12 months.
• BSN must be pursued/achieved within five years of start date; enrollment required within two years.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care as an RN.
• Perform timely assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and IV therapies per policy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
• Monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Support discharge planning and patient education.

• Assumes responsibility for acquiring knowledge and skills necessary for patient care in the identified practice setting.
• Performs assessment and analyzes patient problems and conditions using critical thinking skills to determine need for standard, urgent or emergent interventions.
• Implements and/or modifies plan of care using assessment data, standards of care and evidence based practice inclusive of nursing care coordination, appropriate patient and family education, and discharge planning. Facilitates interdisciplinary partnership in patient care.
• Integrates ethical provisions in nursing practice and delivers care in a manner that preserves and protects patient autonomy, dignity and rights.
• Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Evaluates progress towards attainment of desired patient outcomes.
