Job summary

Lutheran Health Network in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse for our outpatient clinic. The RN will provide high-quality patient care through routine nursing duties, clinical assessments, and collaboration with healthcare providers.

You will administer treatments, perform diagnostic testing, triage concerns, and educate patients while upholding HIPAA and patient rights. You will work with a dedicated care team to develop and implement care plans, coordinate follow-up, and participate

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of nursing experience in a clinical or outpatient setting.
• RN license in state (or compact).
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients at intake, documents symptoms and meds in the EMR.
• Administers medications and vaccines per protocols.
• Performs labs, EKGs, and assists with procedures.
• Triages concerns by phone or in person and directs care.
• Educates patients on disease, treatment, and meds.
• Maintains infection control and safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Coordinates follow-up by portal messages, calls, and test results by day end.
