Hourly Pay Range:
$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights:
Position: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Location: Naperville, IL - Edward Hospital
Full Time - 36 hour work week
Hours: Night Shift - 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
What you will do:
Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and procedures. Employ critical thinking skills, assess patients’ conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor patients’ progress, and record pertinent observations. Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Function as a team member to fulfill unit goals. Duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.
What you will need:
Preferred Education, Skills, and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing
Required Education, Skills, and/or Experience:
At least 1+ years of RN experience in the emergency department
Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
If only an Associate Degree in Nursing is held, must obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of starting the position.
Required License and/or Certification:
Current Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within three months of start date
Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within three months of start date
Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) within three months of start date
