Job summary

Elderwood Administrative Services is seeking an RN Educator in New York to lead orientation, ongoing education, and competency development for nursing and clinical teams. You will act as a clinical mentor, partner with leadership, and ensure excellence and compliance across the facility.

Responsibilities include coordinating orientation programs, maintaining education calendars, and driving in-service education with LMS tracking.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current NYS RN license.
• A baccalaureate degree (BSN) preferred.
• Experience in in-service education or teaching; LTC experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
• Ability to work cooperatively with staff at all levels; written communication essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate orientation, compliance, and continuing education programs.
• Serve as clinical mentor to new nurses, preceptors, and leadership.
• Lead general orientation, department onboarding, and licensed nurse orientation.
• Ensure staff stay current with evolving clinical standards and policies.
• Coordinate and deliver mandatory education with LMS tracking.
