Job summary

North Shore Community Health (NSCH) is seeking an RN Trainer to deliver direct patient care at Salem, Peabody, and Gloucester sites while building a durable RN onboarding program and standardized clinical workflows.

This role partners with Nursing leadership to design training, mentor new hires, and ensure continuity of care across sites. Massachusetts RN license, CPR, and 5 years of ambulatory RN experience are required; travel between sites is expected. Bilingual Spanish/Portuguese preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 5 years RN experience in ambulatory/primary care or FQHC setting.
• Ability to train, mentor, or precept other nurses.
• Willingness to travel between Salem, Peabody, and Gloucester sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care across NSCH sites (60%).
• Lead RN onboarding program and ongoing clinical training (40%).
• Develop and maintain standardized workflows, SOPs, and escalation paths.
• Mentor and support nursing staff; participate in nursing huddles and staff development.
• Collaborate with DON and leadership to improve training content and outcomes.
