Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time RN Educator to support training for Florida corrections healthcare at the Lake Butler location.

You will develop curricula, prepare materials, and organize, deliver, and facilitate a range of classes, in-services, orientations, and workshops for nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• RN license or ability to obtain one required.
• Three (3) years of experience in training and education.
• Ability to design, prepare, deliver, and modify course curriculum and associated aids.
• Knowledge of nursing education and clinical theory and practice.
• Corrections experience preferred.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance (drug screen and background check).

Overview

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections. We are seeking a full-time RN Educator to join our team at Reception and Medical Center located in Lake Butler, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Developing curricula
• Preparing relevant presentations and materials
• Organizing, delivering, and facilitating classes, in-services, orientations, clinical rotations, workshops, seminars, and other training services

Qualifications

• Associate\'s degree required
• Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Three (3) years of experience in training and education
• Ability to design, prepare, deliver, and modify course curriculum and associated aids
• Knowledge of nursing education and clinical theory and practice
• Proficiency in Word and PowerPoint
• Corrections experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Shift

Available Shift: Monday-Friday; 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with occasional night shift responsibilities
