Adhere to national education practice standards and stays abreast of current research into nursing education practice. A general understanding of nursing principles and practices as normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Masters degree in nursing or education preferred.**Work Experience*** At least five (5) years of clinical experience required. At least one year adult teaching experience. Experience with developing and implementing education offerings based on needs assessments. Intermediate computer knowledge/experience with Microsoft office products. Must have organization and critical thinking skills and strong writing skills desired.**Certification/License*** Current RN license in the State of Missouri or Compact State.* BLS Certification required.**Mental/Physical Requirements*** Considerable mental concentration required. Lifting up to 35 lbs., turning activities and nearly constant walking required.
