Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA seeks a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle, applying the nursing process from assessment through evaluation. You will work within organizational policies and coordinate care among assigned staff to ensure quality outcomes.

Applicants should have graduated from an accredited nursing program, hold or pursue GA RN licensure, and possess BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; GA RN licensure required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required for all positions.
• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNCL multistate license required.
• BCLS certification required.
• New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred for some roles.
• PRN positions may require 1 year hospital experience.

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Work Experience

• No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible Required
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
