Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Georgia RN licensure, and BCLS; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Experience in a hospital setting is encouraged, and new graduates are eligible for consideration.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; required.

• Current Georgia RN license and BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across lifecycle using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications:Education

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
