Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle. You will use nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, while coordinating activities of assigned staff to uphold standards of practice.

Education includes graduation from an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Georgia RN licensure and BCLS are required, with advanced certification encouraged where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications

Work Experience

• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
