Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department on a part-time basis (24 hours per week) with a 9:00am-9:30pm shift. The position offers a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and day-one benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Join a team caring for a 26-bed ED with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio and support from care techs and paramedics. ACLS/BLS certifications (or within 30 days) are required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license).
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (or within 30 days), plus unit-specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for care provided to assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
