Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington in Missouri is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department on a part-time basis (24 hrs/week). The shift runs 9:00am–9:30pm.

This role offers a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 for experienced nurses, day-one benefits including medical, dental and vision, tuition reimbursement, and an employer-matched retirement plan. Join a 26-bed ED serving the community 24/7 with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license) to practice in MO.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (or within 30 days).
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care by other direct care givers.
• Works in alignment with Mercy mission and standards.
