Job summary

Yale New Haven Health's Bridgeport Hospital Emergency Department seeks registered nurses for a paid training program in Bridgeport, CT. Nurses will be oriented in ED nursing and assigned to a 36-hour full-time position following successful completion.

The program includes onboarding, ACLS/TNCC/ENPC within 18 months, and opportunities to work evenings or nights as the unit operates around the clock. Start dates are in December 2026, with a focus on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Connecticut required; ACLS, TNCC and ENPC to be obtained within 18 months.
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills and successful completion of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Paid training program with placement in a full-time 36-hour position after completion.
