Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking an experienced staff nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using established nursing processes, coordinating with team members to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a current Georgia RN license, BLS, and hospital experience. This role offers a supportive culture with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New Graduates eligible.
• Current License in Georgia as RN or NLC/eNLC Multistate License; BLS certification required.
• For PRN positions: Hospital nursing experience preferred; Bachelor’s degree preferred; Advanced certification in specialty preferred.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to provide quality nursing care.
• Maintain standards of practice and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of a nursing program

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
New Graduates of a nursing program eligible

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
BLS certification required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
For PRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred
Bachelor?s degree preferred
Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
