Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within our policies, coordinating with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes. The role requires GA RN licensure and BCLS certification.

Advanced certifications are welcomed. Education includes graduation from an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized nursing program (Required).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible (Required).
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
• The staff nurse coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
• Maintains standards of practice and demonstrates professional growth and accountability within organizational policies.

Work Experience

• No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible Required
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
