Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department. This full-time role (36 hours/week) offers a 2:00pm–2:30am shift with a competitive sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include providing patient-centered care, coordinating with departments, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality. A compact license may be accepted, with ACLS/BLS required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license)
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (or within 30 days), plus unit-specific certifications
• Must live within 45 mins of Mercy Hospital Washington

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process in the Emergency Department.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and care team.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Support a 26-bed ED serving the community 24/7 with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
