Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department. This full-time role offers a 36-hour workweek with the shift 2:00pm–2:30am and a sign-on bonus up to $20,000.

You will provide high-quality nursing care in a 26-bed ED, working with care techs, paramedics, and support staff. Ideal candidates hold an active RN license (or compact) and ACLS/BLS certifications, with the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license) is required.
• Certifications ACLS and BLS (or within 30 days) are required.
• Must live within 45 minutes of Mercy Hospital Washington.
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly.

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and teams.
