Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington in Missouri is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 26-bed ED that serves adults and pediatrics in a fast-paced setting. The role requires strong assessment and triage skills, and a commitment to high-acuity care with a supportive team.

You’ll work 36 hours per week with a 2:00 PM–2:30 AM shift, enjoy benefits starting Day One, tuition reimbursement, and generous time off while advancing your career in a trusted healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri RN license or compact license.
• Experience in Emergency Department, Critical Care, ICU, Trauma, or Acute Care nursing.
• Strong assessment, triage and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Evaluate care effectiveness by direct care givers and coordinate with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Provide lifesaving care during rapid assessment, stabilization, and emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Respond to trauma and medical emergencies with evidence-based practice.
• Deliver exceptional patient-centered care.
