Job summary

The Department for Persons with Disabilities (DPD) at Catholic Charities, Diocese of Paterson is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN). This hourly, non-exempt position requires 37.5 hours per week, with shifts primarily on weekdays and one floating evening shift, and travel between the main office, group homes, day program center, and to medical appointments.

The Nurse oversees medical care, educates staff on medical needs, reviews medical documentation in the CC-DPD EHR and MARs, and supports ISP

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing with licensure to practice in New Jersey.
• Experience in coordinating medical care for individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medical care for clients and educate staff on medical needs.
• Attend medical appointments with individuals and participate in IDT meetings.
• Review and maintain medical documentation and MARs for accuracy.
• Create reports and trainings; ensure timely and accurate health records.
