Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care in Riverton, Utah is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead the Nursing Services department. The role oversees operations, staffing, and compliance to ensure compassionate, quality care for residents.

The position requires a nursing degree, an active RN license, CPR certification, and 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing home or related facility. The candidate will report to the Administrator and work with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Requires nursing degree and RN licensure in practice state.
• One to three years of supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related health facility.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and directs the Nursing Services department in accordance with laws and facility policies.
• Interprets and communicates policies to nursing staff and monitors practices.
• Participates in admissions decisions and management meetings.
• Oversees staffing, quality of care, and infection control per guidelines.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to improve resident care and regulatory compliance.
