Job description

Job Title: Director of Nursing

We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to join our team at Heritagespring Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in West Chester, OH.

Salary Range: $100,000 to $130,000 per year.

Qualifications: Must have Nursing Experience in a Nursing Home Setting.

Reporting To: Facility Administrator.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning, organizing, and directing the overall operation of the Nursing Department.
  • Providing leadership to nursing staff.
  • Directing programs and services in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Participating in fiscal operations.
  • Establishing quality goals and developing comprehensive care plans.

Key Duties:

  • Overseeing daily nursing operations to ensure excellent care, customer service, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Analyzing trends and implementing quality assurance solutions.
  • Completing documentation and clinical chart reviews.
  • Managing staffing levels, schedules, and assignments.
  • Personnel management and staff development.

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in Ohio.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in a nursing home.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of federal and state long-term care laws.
  • Excellent organization, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Strong physical assessment skills.
