Job summary

Salem West Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is seeking an experienced RN to serve as Director of Nursing and lead our nursing team in delivering high-quality resident care.

The DON will administer and coordinate clinical services, directly supervise nurses as nurse manager, and ensure day-to-day operations meet regulatory requirements while partnering with families to provide compassionate, patient-centered care. This is a full-time, on-site role in Salem, OH.

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• 5 years clinical management experience, preferably in long-term care.
• Prior DON experience is highly preferred.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, laws and guidelines for long-term care.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills with staff and families.
• CPR certification.
