Trust Home Care Inc is seeking an experienced RN Director of Nursing to lead our clinical team in Baltimore, MD. This leadership role focuses on delivering high-quality home care and shaping nursing operations to drive excellence across the organization.

You will mentor RNs, LPNs, and aides while ensuring regulatory compliance and exceptional patient outcomes. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to staff development within a patient-centered home health

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland.
• 3–5 years of nursing experience with 2+ years in supervisory or director role.
• Home health/home care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Maryland home health regulations and Medicare/Medicaid compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical nursing operations and home care services.
• Develop and evaluate nursing policies and standards of care.
• Recruit, hire, supervise, and mentor nursing staff.
• Conduct clinical assessments, care plan reviews, and QA audits.
• Serve as liaison between patients, families, physicians, and care team.
• Ensure compliance with Maryland home health regulations and HIPAA.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all clinical nursing operations and home care services to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Recruit, hire, supervise, and mentor nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and home health aides
• Conduct clinical assessments, care plan reviews, and quality assurance audits
• Serve as a liaison between patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Monitor and ensure compliance with Maryland home health care regulations and HIPAA standards
• Lead staff education, training programs, and ongoing professional development initiatives

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland
• Minimum of 3–5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or director-level role
• Prior home health, home care, or community health nursing experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of Maryland home health regulations and Medicare/Medicaid compliance
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation systems
• CPR/BLS certification required
