Logan Health Whitefish is seeking an experienced healthcare leader to serve as Director of Critical Care, providing strategic and operational leadership for the Emergency Department and Special Care Unit. You will guide clinical teams to deliver exceptional care while driving quality, safety, and performance improvements.

The role partners with physicians, nursing leaders, and executives to shape critical care services and foster collaboration, accountability, and innovation in a scenic Montana

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field required.
  • Montana RN license required.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive leadership in emergency/critical/acute care.
  • Experience managing budgets, staffing, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with EHR systems and healthcare technology.
  • RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire or transfer.
  • ALS within 6 months, PALS within 6 months.

What You’ll Do

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field.

  • Current Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in emergency, critical care, or acute care operations.

  • Experience managing departmental budgets, staffing, quality initiatives, and regulatory compliance.

  • Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare technology.

  • RQI Provider (BLS) within seven (7) days of hire/transfer or prior to independent patient care, whichever comes first.

  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) within six (6) months of hire/transfer.

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six (6) months of hire/transfer.

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
