Job summary

Connections Healthcare Staffing seeks an experienced Care Management Director for a midsized hospital in Northwest Montana. The role oversees Case Management, Quality and Risk, and Utilization Review, supervising 8 FTEs and reporting alongside a Care Management Manager.

Union experience is a definite plus for this leadership position. The RN must hold an active state license and bring strong case management leadership.

Job description

Our client, a midsized hospital located in Northwest Montana, about 2 hours from Kalispell and Glacier National Park, has a need for an experienced Care Management Director to join their team. For this position, you will be overseeing Case Management, Quality and Risk, and Utilization Review. You will oversee 8 FTEs and there is a Care Management Manager as well. This is a union hospital so union experience is a definite plus. This hospital wants a RN for this role. Candidates should have experience with Case Management experience.

Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 - two-year commitment

Relocation: Up to $10,000 with receipts

The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the perioperative setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. The RN is knowledgeable in all surgical procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents. Manages patient loads in assigned timelines.

Required qualifications:

• Current state RN license
• One (1) year of Hospital Case Management Leadership experience
• Bachelors Degree
• BLS
• Extensive Hospital Case Management leadership experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Two (2) - Five (5) years of Hospital Case Management leadership experience
• MSN
