Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct, evidence-based nursing care using the nursing process. You will assess patients, administer therapies, educate patients and families, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to meet outcomes.

The role includes leadership within the unit, supervision of support staff, and adherence to all regulatory and hospital policies. A strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and ongoing competency is expected.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS within 1 month of hire or transfer.
• ACLS within 12 months of hire or transfer.
• TEAM ADVANCED: within 6 months of hire (24 months if hired before 12/31/2023)

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and provide skilled nursing services.
• Provide direct patient care including medications, treatments, education, and transfers.
• Evaluate treatment plans and collaborate to update plans as needed.
• Follow regulations, policies, and procedures for patient care.
