Description:RN - Dialysis position available.The facility has 351 licensed beds.It serves adult inpatient dialysis patients with acute and chronic renal failure.The unit has a total of 6 beds.The average daily patient census is between 14 to 18 patients.Patient ratios are typically RN: 2:1 or 3:1 with hemodialysis technicians.Hemodialysis technicians have a ratio of 4:1 with RN supervision.Support within the department includes a charge nurse who oversees department operations and patient throughput.There is 24/7 availability of respiratory therapists and hospitalists.The technology and equipment used include EMR systems, IV pumps, and specialized dialysis equipment.The unit culture promotes a positive teamwork environment.Weekend rotation includes Sunday call once a month for a 12-hour shift.
