Contract RN - Dialysis - Night Shift - 13 Weeks

This is a night shift position with hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The contract is for 13 weeks, with rotating weekends and a call requirement of one shift per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with acute dialysis experience to join our dynamic team. This position requires expertise in both inpatient hemodialysis (IHD) and peritoneal dialysis (PD). The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a multi-room setting with a patient ratio of 2:1.

Responsibilities

• Administer dialysis treatment to patients with kidney failure, including IHD and PD.
• Monitor patient vitals and overall well-being during procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and documentation in EMR (Meditech).
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies during shifts.
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage and on-call duties as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Acute dialysis experience is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
