CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (DHC) to deliver nursing care on a specialty unit using the nursing process. The role involves patient assessment, care planning, documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

40 hours per week with day shifts and on-call expectations. The position requires an Illinois RN license, ADN (Bachelor's preferred), BLS within 30 days, and familiarity with narcotics and IV therapies.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• An Associate Degree in Nursing is required; a Bachelor's is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and nursing knowledge essential.

Responsibilities

Shares responsibility with other health care disciplines. Reports to Department of Nursing Director.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS****:*** Ensures optimal patient care utilizing the nursing process.* Maintains patient records and documents to ensure an accurate record of the patient’s medical and nursing care.
