Job summary

Wellstar Health System’s MCG Health Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for full-time day shifts. You will provide high-quality nursing care within a collaborative patient care team, coordinating plans, and supporting patient and family needs.

Responsibilities include performance improvement, maintaining licensure, and promoting shared governance while ensuring safety and confidentiality across care settings.

Qualifications

• GA RN license required upon hire; multi-state compact acceptable.
• BLS certification required upon hire; instructor preferred or BLS basics included.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of the patient care team.
• Coordinate care plans and communicate with care team and family.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and uphold safety standards.
• Maintain licensure and seek ongoing professional development.
• Lead and mentor other nurses and support shared governance.
