Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks a Registered Nurse for the Day shift at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center. The role involves direct patient care, coordination with the care team, and delivering high-quality nursing services. Full-time 36 hours/week (3/12s) with a sign-on bonus opportunity.

Responsibilities include planning and evaluating patient care, documentation, and active participation in governance and quality initiatives to improve outcomes and patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required on hire.
• RN licensure in Georgia or Multi-State Compact.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with the care team.
• Maintain documentation of patient assessments and care.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and governance.
• Provide patient and family education and advocacy.
• Ensure safety, confidentiality and adherence to policies.
