Job summary

Good Samaritan – Woodland in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized care using the nursing process and to collaborate with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team. The RN will coordinate care across preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment within the licensed scope of practice.

The role requires a Minnesota RN license (or multi-state licensure) and completion of a nationally accredited nursing program.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA preferred.
• Minnesota RN license current and in good standing; multi-state licensure if applicable.
• Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes nursing process to provide individualized care.
• Collaborates with residents, families and inter-disciplinary teams.
• May serve as charge nurse and supervise licensed and unlicensed staff.
