Lakeview Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the full-time day shift. The RN will provide compassionate, quality care to patients in a behavioral health setting, support care plans, and coordinate nursing services with the healthcare team.

The role requires a state RN license, at least one year of nursing experience (psychiatric/behavioral experience a plus), and CPR/de-escalation and restraint certification.

Qualifikationen

• Graduated from an accredited nursing school.
• Current RN license required by state.
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral or substance abuse experience a plus.
• CPR, de-escalation and restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required depending on state or facility requirements.

Aufgaben

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about various physical and behavioral health conditions.
• Administer medications per ordered notes.
• Document accurate counts of controlled substances on required documents.
• Complete admission and discharge processing efficiently and accurately.
• Exhibit therapeutic rapport with patients by maintaining professional boundaries and providing direct attention.
