Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in alignment with physician orders and established nursing guidelines. The nurse will work within the Georgia Nurse Practice Act framework and hospital policies.

GA RN licensure in good standing and Basic Life Support are required; a BSN is preferred and two years of RN experience is typical for this level. Work hours are 7:30a-4p with a focus on safe, compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Adhere to the Georgia Nurse Practice Act scope of practice.
• Provide care in a timely, safe, and compassionate manner, and participate in unit activities.
