Job summary

The Registered Nurse is a professional nurse educated in the art and science of nursing, with the goal of assisting patients attain, maintain, and restore health when possible. The RN provides patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the MS Nurse Practice Act, ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice, and SRHS standards for care.

This full-time day shift at the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center requires NLN nursing education, MS RN licensure, BCLS certification, and multiple

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice as an RN in the state of Mississippi.
• BCLS certification required upon hire and/or transfer.
• De-escalation training must be completed by end of orientation (90 days).
• Experience: 1 year inpatient clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care utilizing the Nursing Process consistent with standards.
• Maintain required certifications and de-escalation training.
• Collaborate with the Patient Care Manager and unit team to ensure quality care.
