Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence Rehabilitation Hospital East is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in an acute care setting. You will perform assessments, implement nursing interventions, document care, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Applicants should hold a valid RN license in Texas, with CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS and CRRN are preferred. Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in acute care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN, ASN, or Nursing Diploma program.
• Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR/BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• CRRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify care needs.

• Deliver age-appropriate care for each patient.
• Document medical necessity and nursing activities promptly.
