Job summary

Eagle View Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift at our Bettendorf, Iowa facility. The role involves providing and coordinating care for patients with physical and behavioral health needs, administering medications, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• One or more years’ nursing experience in clinical settings preferred.
• Behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery experience preferred.
• Knowledge of psychotropic meds and administration procedures.
• Ability to apply nursing standards in acute psychiatric care.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans; document and educate patients and families.
• Transcribe and review provider orders; ensure accuracy per policy.
• Administer medications with two patient identifiers; monitor effects.
