Job summary

Southern Health Partners, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Wood County Jail in Wisconsin. The Day Shift Rotation includes 12-hour shifts with every other weekend and sign-on/retention bonuses.

The role focuses on delivering patient-centered nursing care, conducting assessments, administering medications, and coordinating with the healthcare team to maintain a steady, high-quality standard of care in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

Active Wisconsin RN license required.
2+ years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
Experience in correctional or secure healthcare settings desired.
Strong clinical judgement and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care in a correctional setting.
Assess patient conditions, monitor changes, and intervene as needed.
Administer medications and treatments per established protocols.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
Coordinate with healthcare providers and team members to plan patient care.
Respond to medical concerns and emergencies with professional clinical judgment.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and records.
Promote a safe, patient-centered healthcare environment.
