Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia is seeking a full-time registered nurse to assess, implement, and evaluate patient care under the direction of a licensed physician. The position covers 36 hours per week, days shift, with every-other weekend and holidays as required.

The RN will collaborate with patients, families, and the health care team, direct nursing support staff, and adhere to standards of nursing practice and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients under physician supervision.
• Collaborate with patient, family, and health care team to individualize patient care.
• Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care per standards of nursing practice and hospital policies.
• Maintain knowledge of current nursing practices and procedures.
