Maple Grove Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking an RN Charge Nurse to supervise shifts, deliver quality resident care, and coordinate medication administration in a skilled nursing setting.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an approved RN program, licensed to practice in the state, and possess BLS/CPR certification. Two years of SNF experience is preferred, with a focus on teamwork and quality outcomes.

Competenze

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing program and licensed in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs; ALFs as required by state).

Mansioni

• Ensure high-quality clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction during supervisory shift.
• Serve as a resource to all staff regarding quality of services.
• Provide direct resident care when required; administer medications and treatments per policy; handle physician orders as allowed.
• Manage nursing personnel on shift to limit overtime and agency use.
• Assess staff performance against unit standards and goals.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and provide updates to the DON.

Qualifications Of RN / Charge Nurse

Principal Responsibilities Of RN Charge Nurse

• Ensures delivery of high-quality, positive clinical outcomes, and resident/family satisfaction during supervisory shift.
• Serves as a resource to all staff within the facility regarding the quality of services provided.
• Provide direct resident care when required; Demonstrates the ability to administer medications and treatment timely and according to facility policy; Demonstrates ability to receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders, if allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Effectively manages nursing personnel on shift to limit use of overtime and agency personnel.
• Assesses the work performance of nursing staff as it relates to unit standards of care and goals.
• Conducts regular staff meetings on each shift and provides updates to DON.
