Job summary

Armor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide holistic nursing care in a correctional setting on Day 2x12s. The role requires an active Ohio RN license and current CPR certification, with proficiency in EMR systems and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

Active RN license in Ohio.
Current CPR certificate.
Proficient with electronic medical records.
Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Provide holistic RN nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
Assess physical, psychological, and social dimensions; obtain health history and write an admission assessment.
Document and communicate triage decisions during custody and discharge to the health care provider.
Develop individual nursing care plans using assessment protocols with health care providers.
Implement medical care plans including diagnostic tests and EKGs per physician orders.
Administer medications using proper techniques and routes; manage nutrition and therapeutic diets.
Assist physician in medical or minor surgical procedures as needed.
