Job summary

Med Career Solutions in Kissimmee, FL is seeking an RN CVOR - Open Heart. You will perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and lead care planning for critically ill open heart patients, using evidence-based practice and strong teamwork. Requirements include 1 year of Open Heart CVOR RN experience in acute care, FL RN license (or eligible), BSN preferred, and BLS/ACLS/PALS.

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start.

• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA Healthcare provider) Certifications - Required
• CNOR - Highly Preferred

Job description

Position: RN CVOR - Open Heart

Location: Kissimmee, FL

Shift/Schedule: Days 7a-7p | Full-Time | ON CALL once a week & one weekend a month Required and MUST live 30 mins. away from the hospital

What You'll Do:

You must be proficient in conducting comprehensive patient assessments and accurately analyzing assessment data to inform and guide clinical decision-making and care planning for cardiovascular patients requiring critical care. Demonstrates exceptional teamwork and communication skills by effectively collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and coordinated patient care.

Qualifications Required:

• MUST have 1 year of Open Heart (CVOR) RN experience in an Acute Care environment Required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start.
• BSN is preferred
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA Healthcare provider) Certifications - Required

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: UP to $46.26/hr. (Based on years of experience)
• On call pay: $4/hr.
• Shift Differentials: $4.50/hr. Nights, $1.50/hr. Weekends, and $1.50/hr. for having a National Certification
• Sign On: Available case by case
• Relocation: Available case by case
