The Staff Nurse at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital provides comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle, applying nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate each patient’s care. This role emphasizes adherence to organizational policies, professional growth, and coordination of care among assigned staff to maintain high standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing; required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year hospital experience for PRN positions preferred.
• RN license in Georgia required; NLC/eNCL multistate license accepted.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).

Qualifications

Education

Addendum

• Surgical Services: Additional Required Certifications: PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU - ACLS; PALS if unit provides care to pediatric patients (Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date) OR - BLS required only within 180 Days Required
