Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a CVOR Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. This role involves circulating high-stakes open-heart surgeries, including valve repairs, bypass procedures, and hybrid vascular cases such as carotids, fem-fem bypasses, and abdominal aortic aneurysms. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of CVOR experience and be proficient in managing all open-heart cases as well as vascular and hybrid surgeries. You’ll be setting up lines and drips needed by anesthesia, providing vital support during complex procedures, and collaborating with general nurses when not on cardiac cases. Expect a schedule of four 10-hour days with rotating weekend and weekday call, including nights and weekends, ensuring an engaging, fast-paced environment that challenges your skills while offering an opportunity to sharpen your expertise in cardiac surgery.
