Job Description

Job Summary: The Staff Nurse is responsible for implementing the philosophies, objectives, standards of care, and policies and procedures of the Nursing Division under the direction of the Nurse Manager. The Staff Nurse provides direct patient care and functions as a charge nurse according to the Nurse Manager's expectations for an assigned shift.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate from an NCBON-approved School of Nursing or an approved School of Nursing.
• Current RN license with the North Carolina State Board of Nursing or a Compact License recognized by the Board.
• Knowledge of current trends and techniques in nursing.
• Effective communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Ability to serve as a professional role model.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care, demonstrating knowledge of growth and development principles.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Outstanding customer service skills aligning with CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
• Sign-on bonus of $35,000 for qualified full-time candidates.
• Relocation assistance up to $7,000 for full-time candidates per HR guidelines.
